The course provides to students to develop their listening skills in academic context. Students need good listening skills to interpret what people are saying in various academic situations.
In this course students learn how to listen to lectures and take notes effectively, and to communicate with other students in group discussions, with the strategies they need to listen, take notes, and discuss idea independently and confidently. Through the use of engaging lectures presented via DVD, Video and Audio, students experience the demands and atmosphere of real college classroom. The achievement of the students can be known based on the result of their multiple-choice test.
